Tips for Running in the Minnesotan Winter (aka. Frozen Tundra)
1. Dress in multiple layers. Two or three socks per foot, a couple pairs of leggings, three pairs of pants, tank top, tshirt, longsleeve shirt, sweatshirt, jacket, gloves and mittens, two hats and earmuffs on top of those, and a neck warmer.
2. Put on your snowsuit.
3. Stretch before going outside. …and possibly before you get dressed.
4. Immediately begin running in one direction and don’t stop for any reason. If you do stop, your brain will kick in to Survival Mode and propel you back the direction you came from.
